Clive Hunter, PhD has 25 years practical experience in industrial training management and Human Resource Management, which includes the establishment of effective HR and training departments from the ground up in substantial manufacturing organizations.
In addition, he lectured, researched and consulted in HRM at the University of KZN for over two decades.
His experience in training problem solving skills started in the 1970s with the Training Within Industry (TWI) course followed by other supervisory and management courses.
He was also involved in running negotiation courses that focusd on how to move from a bargaining mode to a joint problem-solving mode of negotiation.
As a senior lecturer he incorporated problem solving into the HRM and general management courses up to post graduate level.
He is the author of the textbook, Managing People in South Africa, which is based on the application of problem-solving principles to HRM. He also authored the book, Bridging the Gap, which is to be published by Kallisti Publishing, Pennsylvania, USA.
For the past twenty years Melody has helped people get jobs. Not just any jobs – jobs they love.
A former Human Resources Professional for large corporates within the Financial Services and the Agricultural sectors, she now coaches people from all walks of life so they can empower themselves to achieve the career of their dreams.
She holds a B.Soc.Sc (Psychology) from the University of the Free State and is also a certified Life Coach and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner.
She also holds a Diploma in Advanced Facilitation Skills obtained through UNISA.
She has a passion to make a positive difference in the world, where people enjoy all the rewards that come with a life well-lived. Melody lives with her husband Clive in Howick, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa, with their two dogs Tommy and Sasha.
